The Coleman Police Department shared the following information on social media Tuesday morning:
On Saturday, April 12, 2025 at approximately 4:30 AM, and while on patrol, Coleman Police Officer Seth Wilson noticed suspicious activity at the ABC Storage Units in the 1200 block of South Concho Street. Officer Wilson contacted two suspects later identified as Bradley Horton, age 36 and Gayla Carlisle, age 46, both of Runnels County.
Upon investigating as to why the two suspects were at the storage units, Officer Wilson noticed locks cut off two of the storage units. One of the locks was lying near the suspect’s vehicle. Officer Wilson requested Coleman Police Officer Jeff Baker and K-9 Rino to his location at which time K-9 Rino alerted on the suspect’s vehicle.
As a result of K-9 Rino’s alert, a quantity of Methamphetamine was seized as well as property believed to be stolen from the storage units. The suspects were found to be in possession of multiple tools including at least two pair of bolt cutters.
Horton and Carlisle were arrested for Burglary of a Building and Possession of a Controlled Substance. They were transported to and placed in the Coleman County Jail and are being held on $15,000 in bonds for the Coleman County charges. Horton is also being held on a Blue Warrant and a Runnels County warrant for Criminal Trespass. Both suspects were still in the Coleman County Jail at the time of this news release.
All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
