DE LEON – The Bangs Lady Dragons coasted past De Leon, 17-2, for a District 8-2A softball victory.
Bangs scored twice in the second inning, three times in the fourth, twice more in the sixth and tacked on 10 runs in the top of the seventh inning. De Leon recorded its two runs in the fifth inning.
The Lady Dragons finished with 10 hits including four from Abby Wolf, three each from Cheyenne Rush and Neeley Bradley, two apiece from Justice Baker, Julianna Ethridge and Aubree Buford and one each by Mattisyn Taylor, Stormy Stringer and Adalynne Stephens. Buford and Rush both homered for Bangs, as Rush led the team with five RBIs trailed by two each from Bradley and Buford and one apiece by Baker, Wolf, Ethridge and Taylor.
In the circle, Wolf allowed two runs on six hits with 14 strikeouts and one walk.

Early Lady Horns 18, Dublin 4
EARLY – The Early Lady Horns rolled to a lopsided District 8-3A softball victory over Dublin, 18-4.
The Lady Horns scored five runs in the second inning, 10 in the third, and three more in the fourth. Dublin pushed three runs across the plate in the third inning and one more in the fourth.
Early’s 14-hit attack included three from Kyleigh Caperton, who homered and drove in four, along with three from Jamie Lyon, who tallied one RBI. Jamie Vassar finished with three hits and three RBIs and Sydney Greaves also contributed a pair of hits with two RBIs. Andie Simpson recorded one hit and two RBIs, Harper Thornberry added one hit with one RBI, and Marissa Reedy and Jordan Simmons also finished with one hit each.
In the circle, Greaves pitched all five innings and yielded one earned run on five hits with four strikeouts and one walk. The Early defense committed three errors.

Early Longhorns 5, Eastland 4
EASTLAND – The Early Longhorns picked up a 5-4 District 8-3A baseball road victory over Eastland in eight innings Tuesday.
Early scored the winning run in the top of the eighth inning on an Eastland error.
Tied at 1 after one two innings, Early grabbed a 3-1 lead in the top of the third that grew to 4-1 in the top of the fourth. Eastland crept within 4-3 in the bottom of the fourth and tied the score at 4 in the sixth.
The Longhorns collected eight hits – three from Skyden Stoddart and one apiece from Brayden Moya, Ben Wilson, Eli Pallette, Jack Nowell and Rowan McDermed.
On the mound, Pallette and Chris Ivy teamed up to allow one earned run on four hits with 11 strikeouts and six walks. The Early defense committed three errors.

May Tigers 10, Cross Plains 0
CROSS PLAINS – The May Tigers blanked District 7-A rival Cross Plains by a 10-0 count.
May struck for four runs in the first inning, one each in the second and third, and two apiece in the fourth and sixth frames.
The Tigers racked up nine hits – three by Lane Goodson, two each by Ben Harrell and Kaden Watkins and one apiece by Hunter Seider and Jackson Lusk. Seider finished with three RBIs while Watkins and Brody Stice each chipped in a pair and Harrell was credited with one.
On the mound, Goodson, Harrell and Kobey Morris teamed up to yield five hits with nine strikeouts and four walks.
