Welcome back to the weekly Pfluger Fly-By, a collection of events and happenings to keep you updated on everything I am doing week by week to represent you in Congress.
This week, I announced my appointment to serve again on the U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors, I introduced legislation to codify President Trump’s recent actions to restore law and order into law, President Trump and Defense Secretary Hegseth took steps to deliver on their promise to restore lethality and mission readiness to the U.S. Air Force, and former President Biden was exposed for covering up reports on LNG exports.
I have included some photos and highlights from the week. You can also find information on how my office can help you with any federal problems you may be having. As always, please do not hesitate to contact my office if we can ever be of assistance.
Best,
Appointment to U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors
I am humbled and honored to announce that Speaker of the House Mike Johnson appointed me to serve again on the U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors. As a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, I have first-hand experience with the critical function the Academy plays in graduating mission-ready leaders. I look forward to continuing my work in this role alongside Representative Jeff Crank and the presidential appointees to ensure the Academy maintains its focus on lethality, merit, and developing cadets into the next generation of leaders and warfighters to win.
Restoring the Rule of Law on U.S. College Campuses
It is a privilege for international students to have the opportunity to study in the United States, not a right. Given the increase in hostility, protests, and even violent riots across college campuses over the past few years, I reintroduced two pieces of extremely critical legislation to codify President Trump’s action on this issue and restore the rule of law.
The UPRISERS Act will revoke the visas of any international students, faculty members, and other individuals in the U.S. on a visa who assault a police officer or participate in riots. It will also make any international student guilty of these crimes eligible for deportation. The FAFSA Act reinforces this stance by striping federal student aid from those convicted of these violent acts.
These bills send a clear message: If you bring violence to the United States – you are not welcome here. You can read more about the two pieces of legislation in The Federalist here or by clicking the image below.
President Trump and Defense Secretary Hegseth Unveil the F-47
I applaud President Trump and Defense Secretary Hegseth for being laser-focused on restoring lethality and mission readiness to the U.S. Air Force with the new F-47. As a 5th-generation fighter pilot with hundreds of hours of combat experience in the F-22, I have strongly advocated for the advancement of Next Generation Air Dominance fighters. The United States must lead the world in air dominance. You can read more about the F-47 here.

Biden Administration Suppressed Positive LNG Study
From day one, the Biden Administration pandered to radical climate extremists and waged war on the American energy industry. The Trump Administration and House Republicans have been hard at work reversing these egregious energy policies. Just this week, Department of Energy Secretary Chris Wright released reports revealing that even when they knew LNG exports did not increase emissions, the Biden Administration conveniently ignored and hid these studies to justify their radical climate agenda. I wish I could say I was surprised.
I applaud Secretary Wright for giving the American people transparency on this critical issue. This report makes it even more timely that I reintroduced my Unlocking Our Domestic LNG Potential Act earlier this month. You can read more about this legislation here.
I have been a leader in the fight to reverse the ban on LNG in Congress. Last Congress, I questioned the former U.S. Energy Secretary Granholm on the Biden Administration’s burdensome ban on LNG exports, and this Congress, I will continue to fight for this issue until my legislation becomes law. The Biden Administration will go down as the least transparent in history – watch my questioning from the last Congress here or at the link below.
ICYMI: President Trump Signs my CRA into Law
Last week, I was honored to stand in the Oval Office and witness President Trump sign my Congressional Review Act (CRA) to reverse former President Biden’s ill-conceived natural gas tax into law. This monumental legislation delivers on the mandate to remove burdensome regulations in the energy industry and unleash American energy.
This legislation repeals the tax President Biden imposed on every single consumer in this country and protects the hardworking men and women in the Permian Basin who have delivered affordable, reliable energy every day despite being assaulted by the Biden administration for four years. I owed it to my constituents who elected me to fight for them and get this legislation across the finish line. This is only the beginning of my mission to restore American energy dominance, and I thank President Trump for his action on this.
