How time flies! It’s already the second semester, spring is on the horizon, and Brookesmith ISD is hosting its final Book Fair of the year! Parents, this is a great opportunity to connect with your child by selecting books they will enjoy for years. Studies do show that kids read more when they choose the books themselves. Independent reading also boosts academic success. Not only that, but children who read more frequently also report improved mental health. Whatever your child’s interests, they will find something to thrill them! So, make time this week, and visit the Book Fair with your child. It will be time well spent!

The Book Fair is in the Brookesmith ISD school library at 13400 FM 586E in Brookesmith.  The Book Fair will be open Tuesday through Friday, April 11-14, 7:00 a.m. until 4;00 p.m. For more information call the Brookesmith ISD library at 325-643-3023 extension 134, or email [email protected].
