Jack Allen Turk, age 71, of Brady, Texas passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025, at his residence in Brady, Texas. Jack was born October 15, 1953, in Alice, Texas to Herman Clay Turk and Joel Mae (Wood) Turk. He married Susan Hofstetter on April 20, 1974, in Alice, Texas. They had been married 50 years. Jack started working for Harold Stephens, owner of Stephens Chevrolet, as an auto mechanic. He worked for Chevrolet for several years and then started his own auto repair business, Turk Automotive. Jack started working for Norman Motors Ford Company in 1984 and worked there for 21 years. He later worked for Auto Tech. Jack was an avid cyclist and was a member of the “Jack” alopes, a community cycling team. One of his favorite races was the “Hotter Than Hell” race held in Wichita Falls every summer. Jack also enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. He was a member of the Redeemer Church.

Jack is survived by, his loving wife of 50 years, Susan Turk of Brady, TX; daughters Ashleigh Voight and husband David of San Angelo, TX and Hillary Najera and husband Oscar of San Antonio, TX; brothers Robbie Turk of Brady, TX, Garry Turk of Dripping Springs, TX and Kenneth Turk of Brownwood, TX; grandchildren Taylor, Nateline, Madalyn and Olivia; great-grandchildren Abel and Kaleb. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton & Joel Mae Turk.
