Former Brownwood Lion Gavin Brandstetter made his college pitching debut over the weekend for Vernon College against the Wayland Baptist JV, tossing one inning with one walk, one pop-out bunt and one double play ground ball. Brandstetter is slated to start Wednesday at Dallas College-Richland.
