Well, I look at the national football playoff schedule – I don’t know what they call it actually – it’s the National Championship playoff, but four teams do remain and I’ve got one of them. Out of four and one of them is pretty good.

Texas I picked at the start of the season to win the National Championship. They’re about the only team that sometimes doesn’t look much like a National Champion, but they have won. Texas came in as the number five team which pushed them out of the top four at the start of the season. There are four who get a bye to the second round. Texas was waiting on the first one.

Anyway, there are four teams that are remaining. Let me see if I can do this without notes. It’s Penn State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Texas.

That’s the way they’ll match up. The first two against the last two and it will be winner take all when you get a game from either Texas and Ohio State, and the other two will play, and then you’ll have the National Championship game.

Anyway, I thought this would be a good place to kind of jump in. It’s the four remaining. I picked Texas and they, as I said a while ago, they haven’t looked much like a National Champion so far. Their passing game has bailed them out in every playoff game they’ve had. So, I like Texas, even though they’re playing probably the hottest team in the tournament, Ohio State. They do get to play in Dallas and I like the physicality of Ohio State. I like the throw it around the football field and see if you can catch it mentality of the Longhorns. I look at them both and I like them both.

Unfortunately, I look at the other two and I like them too. So, I don’t have a clue who’s going to win it. It could be any of the four but I still like Texas for some reason. Maybe because of my birthright, something like that.

The great thing about American football is that you can take the first four that went out of the tournament and they would probably be just as popular, if you would, having those four teams as the four that we have. This is what we have and I don’t think anybody can complain.

Most people who complained were complaining about going from four teams up to twelve teams. What the heck was up with that? They’ve had some problems with the tournament, and they will correct them, but this year it has worked out well.

I think the top four teams in the country are probably the four best teams in the country and that’s the way it’s supposed to be.
