GATESVILLE – The Brownwood Lions will be looking to halt a four-game skid when they open District 6-4A action next Friday at Stephenville following Friday night’s 97-56 road loss to Gatesville.

The Lions (13-10) trailed 23-11 after one period, 56-26 at halftime, and 74-42 following three quarters.

Brownwood received 18 points from Ross Strasner, 11 from Elias Perez, nine from Durham Brown, eight from Bennett Windham, six from Casey Friebel and four points from Weston Wolf.

For Gatesville (15-7), Charlie Winkler scored a game-high 36 points.
