GATESVILLE – The Brownwood Lady Lions added two more victories to their early season tally, knocking off Waco Meyer, 8-0, and Robinson, 3-1, Friday at the Gatesville tournament.

In the win over Meyer, the Lady Lions (3-0) received two goals apiece from Braycee Lee and Kynlie Lewis, and one apiece from Jacklyn Lewis, Sidney Adkins, Isabella Garza and Madison Weckwerth. Contributing assists were Alma Bernal with a pair and Lee, Weckwerth and Kynlie Lewis with one each.

Against Robinson, the game was tied at 1 at halftime but the Lady Lions recorded a pair of second-half goals to secure the victory.

Lee again recorded a pair of goals while Bernal also found the net for Brownwood.

The Lady Lions conclude tournament action at 3 p.m. Saturday against Waco Connally.
