Gail Spence, age 62, of Midland, Texas went to be with her savior, Jesus Christ, on December 23, 2024. She was born on August 13, 1962 in Midland, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Grace Griggs.

Gail attended Midland High School and took special interest in playing the flute in band and twirling. She graduated from Midland College with her associates degree. She faithfully served the customers of Cristiani’s Jewelers for over 20 years. She took great pride in her work and her integrity was reflected in all she did.

Gail was a devoted mother to Jared (wife Shanna) and Chelsea, and later a cherished G-Ma (Granny) to Clayton and Price. Gail loved spending time with all of her family and especially her coffee mornings with her sister Phyllis. She loved playing cards and games and she was definitely known as having a competitive streak.

A great source of joy for Gail was cooking for family and friends. Her mashed potatoes and caramel apple dump cake were family favorites. She always kept something in the freezer so she would be prepared for any occasion. Gail was the ultimate planner.

Gail loved the Lord with all of her heart. She shared that love with everyone she greeted at First Family Fellowship and through her gifts of music. She was a prayer warrior for her family and friends. Gail was always ready to help and was there with a listening ear. Her warm smile and amazing hugs will be greatly missed by all.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM at May First Baptist Church on Saturday, December 28. Contributions in her memory may be made to First Baptist Church Midland Texas, please notate First Family Fellowship in the memo line, in lieu of flowers.
