Crystal Denise Walker, born on November 27, 1962, in Brownwood, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, in Coleman, Texas, with her beloved husband, Darrell Walker, by her side.
Crystal dedicated over 26 years of her life to serving at Coleman County Medical Center, a role that she cherished deeply. She found immense joy in supporting both the nurses and patients, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those around her.
On December 26, 2016, Crystal married Darrell Walker in Coleman, a union filled with love and partnership. Throughout her life, she developed a passion for crafting, particularly enjoyed crocheting and sewing, activities that she pursued with enthusiasm.
Crystal was a vibrant soul who experienced a rich tapestry of life. She grew up across various locations in Texas, attending school in multiple cities, which contributed to her diverse outlook and deep connections with different communities.
She is survived by her husband, Darrell Walker of Coleman; her mother, Margaret Sharp of Coleman; two children, Samuel Brandon Bowden of Coleman and Brandi Nicole Jones and her husband Wes of Wilson; six grandchildren: Emily Bowden, Laryn Jones, Harper Jones, Patton Jones, Ridley Jones, and Ripley Jones; and one great-grandchild, Ember Bowden. Crystal is also survived by her sister, Loretta Simons and her husband Dennis of Bangs, her aunt, Margaret Stockman of Early, and mother-in-law, Viola Walker of Coleman.
Crystal leaves behind the cherished memories of her laughter, compassion, and dedication to her family and community. She is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Dale Rudloff, and her stepfather, Thomas Sharp.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Guy Lowe and Rev. Marvin Hale officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.
