Nine members of the Early Longhorns football team were bestowed all-district accolades by the coaches of District 5-3A Division II.
Selected to the first team were linebacker Kaeden Byrd (150 tackles, 7 for loss, 2 sacks, 1 fumble recovery), and receiver Andrew Reedy (70-967, 7 TDs receiving; 195 yards, 8 TDs rushing).
Second-team choices included defensive back Weston Barton (51 tackles, 2 for loss, 4 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery), running back Cameron Love (856 rushing yards, 5 TDs), offensive lineman Ethan Moseley (22 points and 340 yards – 182 passing and 158 rushing – per game), linebacker Mario Vasquez (103 tackles, 4 for loss, 3 fumble recoveries), and defensive end Rhett Williams (53 tackles, 2 for loss, 1 sack, 2 fumble recoveries).
Receiving honorable mention were receiver Ben Bleth (31-468, 3 TDs receiving) and Will Speck (22 points and 340 yards – 182 passing and 158 rushing – per game).
The Longhorns finished the season with a 1-9 record and 0-5 district mark in their first campaign under head coach Randall Case.
