The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce shared the following information Wednesday:

We’re excited for this year’s parade! To ensure everything runs smoothly, here’s what you need to know:

📍 Check-In Details:

• Floats may check in between 2 and 5 PM at the area between the Colosseum and the Event Center.

• Cars, Dignitaries, Riders, and Walkers should check in by the Fire Station/Depot.

• Reminder: Floats must check in at these designated areas—no other entrances will be permitted.

🚶‍♂️ Float Riders:

• Riders can be dropped off at the Colosseum and walk to the staging area.

⏰ Parade Start Time:

The parade will begin at approximately 6:15 PM.

🍬 Candy Guidelines:

For safety:

• Do not throw candy from floats (it could land in the road).

• Candy must be handed out by walkers to ensure children stay out of the road.

📏 Float Size Limit:

Floats are limited to 35 feet in length.
