Gary Dwain Teague, age 73, of Austin, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024. A graveside service with military honors will be held Saturday, November 16, at 2PM at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early, Texas, under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.
Gary was born on February 25,1951 in Brownwood to Harvey and Peggy Taylor Teague. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard Payne University. Gary proudly served in the United States Army, Vietnam era and received an Honorable Discharge. The majority of his career, Gary worked for the State of Texas in administration, but he had a passion for acting. He was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and enjoyed acting in many different roles. Gary also had a love of the outdoors and shooting.
Gary is survived by his sons, John Teague and his wife Emily of Argyle, Texas and Brian Teague and his wife Melissa of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Taylor, Brandtley, Morgan and Stella; brother, Terry Teague and his wife Pam; half-sisters, Kim and Cheri, as well as numerous friends.
Gary was preceded in death by both of his parents.
