GLEN ROSE – The Brownwood Lady Lions were again denied in their bid for their first District 6-4A volleyball victory as they fell in three set at Glen Rose Friday.

The Lady Lions (13-20, 0-7) were led by eight kills from Aniah Hines, five from Hannah Deen, two each from Trinity Roberts and Miranda Northcutt and one from Aubrie Felux, who returned to the lineup.

Icess Hall distributed 12 assists followed by five from Hines and one from Roberts. Hines also served Brownwood’s lone ace against Glen Rose (27-7, 6-1).

Defensively, Deen recorded five digs along with four from Maddi Scott, three each from Felux and Hines, two apiece from Laine Johnson, Icess Hall and Northcutt, and one apiece by Inylah Hall and Alivia Eanes.

At the net, Roberts and Hines both registered a pair of blocks and Northcutt and Inylah Hall finished with one apiece.
