DE LEON – The Bangs Lady Dragons regrouped from their first District 5-2A defeat as they swept De Leon in three sets Friday, 25-19, 25-23, 25-21.

Bangs (15-14, 2-1) received eight kills from Kasey Solis, six from Neeley Bradley, four each from Cameryn Harmon and Ava Boren, three from Ashlynn Sliger and two from Dyan McCurdy.

Boren dished out 12 assists, Bradley followed with 11 and Harmon was credited with one.

Cloey Petty served a team-high four aces trailed by three from Solis, two from Bradley and one from Justice Baker.

Defensively, Petty notched seven digs followed by six from Bradley, five each from Solis and Julianna Ethridge, four apiece from Boren and Baker, two each from Harmon and McCurdy and one from Kylee Byler.

At the net, Sliger recorded four blocks followed by Solis with a pair and one each from Harmon and Boren.

The Lady Dragons are back in action Tuesday as they host Hamilton at 6 p.m.
