13U Outlaws took 1st place in their most recent appearance in the Small Town Select Baseball tournament held this past Sunday in Brownwood. They went 4-0 on the day dominating each opponent until the championship game. That game turned into pitchers dual as both teams tallied a total of 19 strikeouts from their pitchers. But thanks to great defensive work from the Outlaws and a clutch single in the bottom of the 3rd by Liam Strickland to drive in Reece Campbell for the loan run and RBI of the game. That proved to be the only run Ryder Duncan and Kaeden Leach needed as they combined for 0 runs and 12 strikeouts on the mound. The Outlaws record now comes to a blemish-free 8-0 on the fall 2024 season. They will be on the road this weekend as they compete in the STS 13U Showdown in Clyde.
