BALLINGER – The Bangs Lady Dragons improved to 13-11 for the season with their third consecutive victory Tuesday, downing the Ballinger Lady Bearcats in straight sets, 25-19, 25-15, 25-21.
Fueling the offensive attack were Neeley Bradley with 12 kills, Kasey Solis with eight, Ava Boren with five, Cameryn Harmon with three, Ashlynn Sliger with two and Dyan McCurdy and Julianna Ethridge with one each.
Bradley also led the way with 13 assists followed by Boren with 11 and Solis with one.
Kylee Byler served a team-high three aces trailed by two each from Boren and Cloey Petty and one apiece by Ethridge and Bradley.
Defensively, Ethridge recorded 17 digs along with nine from Boren, seven from Petty, six from Bradley, three from McCurdy, two from Solis, and one each from Sliger, Harmon and Byler.
Sliger finished with four blocks at the net and Boren was credited with one.
The Lady Dragons are back in action at noon Saturday as they host Snyder in a rematch from the Heart of Texas tournament at the Brownwood Coliseum in August.
