BANGS – The Bangs Lady Dragons evened their overall volleyball record at 11-11 with a straight-set 25-10, 25-13, 25-18 home victory over the Rochelle Lady Hornets Tuesday night.
On the attack for the Lady Dragons, Ava Boren and Kasey Solis both recorded nine kills followed by Neeley Bradley and Dyan McCurdy with four apiece, Cameryn Harmon and Ashlynn Sliger with three each, and Cloey Petty with one.
Bradley distributed 18 assists while Boren chipped in nine.
Solis served four aces trailed by Bradley and Julianna Ethridge with three each, and Petty with one.
Defensively, Ethridge registered a team-high seven digs followed by Boren with six, Petty with five, Harmon with four, Bradley and Solis with three apiece, and Justice Baker and Kylee Byler with two each.
At the net, Bradley secured the lone block for the Lady Dragons.
Bangs is next slated to host Woodson at 11 a.m. Saturday.
