WALL – For just the second time in the last eight matches, the Brownwood Lady Lions came out on the losing end, falling in three sets to the Wall Lady Hawks Friday afternoon, 25-15, 25-15, 25-23.
Aubrie Felux recorded 10 kills to lead the way for the Brownwood offense, followed by Aniah Hines with five, Inylah Hall with two, and Demayha Hooker, Sara Stubblefield, and Miranda Northcutt with one each.
Icess Hall distributed 12 assists followed by Hines with six and Jentry Coalson with one.
Felux and Stubblefield served the two Brownwood aces.
Defensively, Felux logged 10 digs trailed by Maddi Scott with seven, Icess Hall and Stubblefield with four apiece, Inylah Hall with three, Trinity Roberts, Coalson and Hooker with two each, and Hines and Northcutt each with one.
At the net, Hines registered five blocks, Northcutt collected three and Roberts finished with two.
The Lady Lions (11-11) are back in action at 6 p.m. Tuesday when they host Jim Ned. Brownwood will also be at Warren Gym next Friday at 4:30 p.m. as Brady comes to town.
