BANGS – The Bangs Lady Dragons outlasted the Class 3A Dublin Lady Lions in five sets Tuesday night for a 25-11, 25-19, 26-28, 23-25, 15-13 home victory.
Bangs, which evened its season record at 7-7 with the win, were led by 14 kills from Kasey Solis, 10 from Cameryn Harmon, nine from Neeley Bradley, six from Ava Boren, and three each from Dyan McCurdy and Ashlynn Sliger.
Bradley served a team-high six aces while Solis and Cloey Petty contributed four each and Julianna Ethridge recorded a pair.
Defensively, Bradley tallied 16 digs followed by Ethridge with 14, Kylee Byler with 11, Petty and Boren with nine apiece, Harmon with eight, Solis with seven, and McCurdy with three.
Solis also notched four blocks along with two each from Harmon, Boren and Sliger, and one from Bradley.
Bangs will next compete in the Bronte tournament over the weekend.
