Marjorie Elizabeth “Beth” Raburn went to dance on the streets of heaven on July 24, 2024, after a sudden decline in her health. Beth was 70 years of age.

Beth is survived by her loving husband John Raburn, her brother James and her sister Nacy Gray both of Lake Whitney, TX. Her daughters Cyndi Flores and wife Sylvia of Bangs, TX, Leann Seeton of Melvin, TX, and Kimberly Wade and her husband Michael of Lohn, TX. Beth, also known as Nana had nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren and she loved her fur babies.

Beth was born in Oildale, California on November 16, 1953. She always said she may not have been born in Texas, but she got here as fast as she could.  Her family moved to Texas before she turned one.

Beth was a very determined woman, and when she wanted to do or learn something she did. Throughout her life this proved true because she was a welder, EMT, correctional officer and several other things throughout her life. And to top it all off she was an excellent baker.

Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others in her extended family that she loved so much.

The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time and asks that in lieu of flowers you make contributions to the ASPCA, because Beth loved her animals like they were her own children and was adamant about treating animals with the respect and love they deserve.

Beth is preceded in death by her parents Vernon Munson and Una Lee Gray, and nephew Bobbie Harrell Jr.

Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
