Kinsler Doremus, a student at Coggin Intermediate School, recently represented Brownwood ISD in Washington, D.C. at the Junior National Young Leaders Conference.
Nominated by Coggin Intermediate sixth grade teacher Amber Shipman based on academic achievement and leadership ability, Doremus was selected for the Junior National Young Leaders Conference, which is the premier development program for middle school students.
Students attending the Junior National Young Leaders Conference were divided into two age groups – fifth and sixth graders and seventh and eighth graders.
