Belinda Kay Weidebusch, age 74, of Brownwood, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 8, 2024. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 10 at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Funeral services for Belinda will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 11 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery.
Belinda was born on October 12, 1949 to Harold and DeLois Slagle in Marion, Virginia. She graduated from Goldthwaite High School, and later married Vic Wiedebusch on June 11, 1973, and moved to Brownwood. She worked as a seamstress for Brownwood Manufacturing for over 34 years. After retirement, Belinda still enjoyed to sew, but loved to spend time with her family. Belinda also enjoyed drinking coffee, gardening; she planted numerous flowers and grew beautiful roses; reading, especially in her Bible, and laughing. Most of all, she valued time with her grandchildren and the rest of the family.
Belinda is survived by her daughter, Meranda Carter and husband Ross; son, Chancy Wiedebusch; daughters gained in marriage, Sheri Montalvo and husband Oscar, and Cindy Head; grandchildren, Jacob Womack, Annastasia Evans and husband Darian, Paige Jones and husband Craig, Ross Allen Carter and wife Kearston, Nathan Wiedebush and wife Kathy, Trevor Wiedebusch and wife Nichole, Tristan, Sable, and Skylar Wiedebusch, JT Gibbard, and Amber Martin and husband Wes; great grandchildren, Zaryiah and Alaina Evans, Mikayla, Brooklynn, Noah, Emerson, and Harbor Jones, Penny, Mika and Lucien Carter, Wade and Jack Wiedebusch, Greyson and Bailey Weidebusch, Brayleigh and Jaycee Gibbard, and Levi and Presley Martin; special daughter, Heather Norway and husband Tim; grandchildren Adam, Callie, Jordan, Presley, Brookalan, Preston, Katie, Levi, Landon, Trinity, Tysan, Hudson, Halyssa, and Hannah; special daughter Jennifer Trowbridge; grandchildren Ray, Josh and Mason Prosise; and great grandchild, Brynzlei Prosise.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and DeLois Slagle; her husband, Vic Wiedebusch; sisters, Monica Thomison and Sheila Hammond; and her best friend, Ruby Neil.
