Morris Southall Field as of Wednesday afternoon.

Brownwood ISD on Wednesday revealed new digital renderings of what Morris Southall Field, Lady Lions Field and the parking lot between the two will look like for the 2025 campaigns.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the outfield grass at both Morris Southall Field and Lady Lions Field had been removed in preparation for the installation of artificial turf.

The outline for fences around both fields are also standing, while the infield of the baseball field was being leveled Wednesday afternoon. The two dugouts, which are going to be renovated, scoreboard, batting cage and storage rooms are all that remain at Morris Southall Field since the conclusion of the 2023-24 school year.

Both fields will eventually receive new fencing and new lights, along with artificial turf, while the baseball field will  feature new bleachers, press box, restroom, concession stand and a canopy over batting cages.

The parking lot being built between the two fields will have an entrance from Magnolia Avenue.

The renovations are part of a $59 million bond that was passed by Brownwood voters in May 2023.
