Gonzalez selected to take part in High Plains Shootout in Oklahoma

Brownwood Lion senior-to-be Noah Gonzalez has been selected to take part in the High Plains Shootout in Enid, Oklahoma July 15-17 and will complete on Team Texas-Navy.

The top 2025 and 2026 players in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas make up 2 teams for each state and each team plays 5 games in 3 days.

Gonzalez, a second-team 6-4A all-district selection, was chosen to participate in the games as a pitcher.
