Brownwood ISD issued the following press release Monday:

This month’s spotlight teacher is Tami Hull. Ms. Hull is a science teacher at Brownwood High School. She is also a graduate of Brownwood High School and holds a Bachelor of Behavior Science degree in Education from Hardin Simmons University. She is a state-certified teacher (All-Level Physical Education, Elementary, Secondary Biology, Secondary Health Education), and this is her third year with Brownwood ISD.

Ms. Hull has been an amazing addition to the BHS science department. She is innovative and always looking for new and exciting ways to teach concepts and interact with her students. Ms. Hull is a go-getter, and she understands the importance of implementing hands-on activities that support collaboration and communication among her students. Along with the ability to analyze and find solutions to their challenges, Ms. Hull continues to build and enhance her student’s critical thinking skills. She is a difference-maker, and we are grateful to have her at BHS.

Brownwood ISD is proud to have teachers like Ms. Hull, whose tireless efforts and dedication to student success continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of her students and colleagues alike.

Our staff spotlight honoree for the month is Diane Conger. Ms. Conger is a library aide at Woodland Heights Elementary. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University, and is a state-certified educational aide. This is her first year with Brownwood ISD.

Ms. Conger is always willing to do what is best for students at Woodland Heights. She starts and ends each day with a smile and is a positive light on the campus. Ms. Conger’s passion for reading and providing a positive environment in the library has been an asset to the school. Her dedication to creating a healthy academic space for reading and studying has a positive impact on students and contributes to making Woodland Heights Elementary an even more special place for everyone involved.

Brownwood ISD is thankful to have staff like Ms. Conger who go above and beyond to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that benefits students, teachers, and the school community.
