Despite measurements of anywhere from half an inch to well over an inch of rain in Brownwood and parts north, Lake Brownwood did not receive a bump in its water level this weekend.
As of 8:30 a.m. Monday morning, the lake was 58.7 percent full at 1,415.66 feet per water. That number is down from one month ago (59.9 percent, 1,415.97 feet), and six months ago (60.2 percent, 1,416.06) – but an increase from this time one year ago (58.2 percent, 1,415.52).
Lake Brownwood’s maximum normal operating level is 1,424.90 feet, leaving the lake 9.27 feet low.
