Corry Lloyd Halmon was born on June 1, 1977 to Jean Yvonne and Lloyd Aaron Halmon in Brownwood, TX. He passed from this life and joined his parents and older brother on Tuesday April 3, 2024.

Corry graduated from Santa Anna high school in 1995. He lived the majority of his life in Santa Anna and had worked at Trans Texas Tire in Brownwood for the last 18 years.

Corry had four great loves in his life. First and foremost was his family. He was a dedicated son that took care of his mom until the day she passed. He seldom missed a day seeing her when she was in the nursing home. He loved his nieces Peyton, Makaylah and nephew Dalton. And his great nieces Jordyn and Kynlee and great nephew DJ with everything he had. They lovingly called him Bubba. He rarely missed a chance to see them or cheer them on at any event. His second love was for music. He had a very large music collection. His third love was for horror movies, and he passed that love on to all his nieces and nephews. Finally, he had a love/hate relationship with the Dallas cowboys. He loved them and cursed them when they lost. Most of all he was a gentle giant. With Corry what you saw was what you got, he never pretended to be anything other than a kindhearted and loyal person who will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

Corry was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother Russell Aaron.

He is survived by his sister Cheree and husband Mike Martin of San Angelo. Two nieces Peyton Morris of Coleman. And Makaylah Morris/Nathan Coleman of Santa Anna. Nephew Dalton Martin/Madison Cortez of San Angelo. Two great nieces Jordyn Morris of Santa Anna and Kynlee Olinger of Coleman and great nephew DJ Martin of San Angelo. And numerous other extended family.

Pallbearers will be Dalton Martin, Jimmy Shields,Tommy Shields, Nathan Coleman, Scotty Olinger, and Eddie Dillard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Puckett and his work family from Trans Texas Tire: Alan Salyer, Doug Roesly, Holly Ray Abernathy, Scott Leonhard, Dusty Chick, and Larry Mullins.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Stephanie Reed who was always there to lend a helping hand or get him in line when needed.

There will be a family visitation on Monday April 8 from 6-7:30 p.m. and graveside services on Tuesday, April 9 at 1 p.m. at the Santa Anna Cemetery Pavilion with Henderson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family requests that you wear your favorite music t-shirt for the funeral. Corry would have preferred that over anything.
