The Brownwood Art Association invites the public to a free reception for the 2024 Salon des Refuses, this Sunday Feb. 4, from 2-4 pm at the Brownwood Art Center, 215 Fisk.
This month’s exhibit displays works which were not accepted for exhibit at the Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit, which also opens Sunday at the Brownwood Depot. All art at the Salon is for sale.
“This is a rare opportunity for this community to enjoy a wide variety of art in two locations at the same time,” says BAA member Donna Lewis, who helped coordinate the Salon.
Regular Art Center gallery hours have been extended for the duration of the Stars of Texas exhibit.
