PRIDDY – The Zephyr Lady Bulldogs concluded an undefeated run to the District 18-A girls basketball championship with a 62-44 road victory over the Priddy Lady Pirates Friday night.
Zephyr (23-3, 12-0) led 13-8 after one quarter, 28-15 at halftime, and 44-28 heading into the fourth period.
Aliyah Harlin paced the Lady Bulldogs with 18 points trailed by Haley Eason with 13, Ronni McClain with 12, nine from Cali McRee, eight from Avery Williams, and one point each from Bethany Blair and Nae’J Payne.

PRIDDY – The Zephyr Bulldogs improved to 23-6 on the season and 10-0 in District 18-A action with an 84-9 thrashing of the Priddy Pirates Friday night.
The Bulldogs were in front 30-1 after one quarter, 62-6 at halftime, and 69-6 through three periods.
Scoring for Zephyr were Wyatt Stevens with 30 points, Ethan Byers with 17, CJ Byers with 12, Reese Hamm with 11, Cooper Walls with nine, Rhett Williams with four, and Karsen Floyd with two points.

May Lady Tigers 43, Cross Plains 40
CROSS PLAINS – The May Lady Tigers rallied past the Cross Plains Lady Buffaloes, 43-40, Friday night in District 13-A action.
May (23-7, 8-1) trailed 14-8 after one quarter, 27-14 at halftime, but pulled even at 28 after three periods and outscored Cross Plains 15-12 over the final eight minutes.
Mia Musick scored 17 points for May trailed by 11 from Kenleigh Williford, five each for Chloe Lord and Jordyn Gerhardt, three from McKenna Landes, and two points from Kenlyn King.

Early Longhorns 60, Breckenridge 54
EARLY – The Early Longhorns improved their postseason chances with a 60-54 home victory over District 8-3A third-place Breckenridge Friday night.
Early (14-11, 5-6) trailed Breckenridge (13-16, 7-4) by an 18-14 count after one quarter, led 30-25 at halftime, and took 45-35 advantage into the final quarter.
Kamden Gamblin sparked the Longhorns with 28 points trailed by 11 from Andrew Caten, 10 from Rohyn Price, five from Dalton Adams, four from Weston Barton, and two points from Alex Perez.

Cross Plains 30, May Tigers 27
CROSS PLAINS – The May Tigers slipped to 5-2 in District 13-A basketball action and 18-8 overall with a 30-27 road loss to Cross Plains.
May led 9-7 after one quarter, trailed 17-16 at halftime, and faced a 24-21 deficit heading into the fourth period.
The Tigers received 12 points from Ben Harrell, 10 from Zack Martin, two each from Mikey Scheriger and Brody Stice and one point from Ryland Billadeau.

Breckenridge 50, Early Lady Horns 42
EARLY – The Early Lady Horns suffered a 50-42 District 8-3A home loss to Breckenridge Friday night to dip to 4-9 in league play and 12-19 overall.
Early grabbed a 13-4 lead after one quarter over Breckenridge (10-23, 5-8), took a 21-10 edge into halftime, and faced a 36-all tie after three periods.
Scoring for the Lady Horns were Dakota Barksdale with 11 points trailed by Lindsey Bastardo and Jamie Vasser with seven apiece, Jenna Hataway and Gabby Benson with five each, Cali Vargas with four, Cassidy Frerichs with two, and Pearl Sharp with one point.
