SALADO – The Brownwood Lady Lions’ six-match unbeaten string was brought to an end by the undefeated Salado Lady Eagles, who cruised to a 5-0 victory Tuesday night in District 5-4A soccer action.

The Lady Lions (9-3-1, 1-1) have a district bye Friday and will attempt regroup as they next take the field at 7 p.m. Tuesday at China Spring.

Salado improved to 15-0 on the season and 2-0 in district with the victory.
