MILLSAP – The Early Longhorns held off a fourth-quarter rally Tuesday night for a 35-34 victory over Millsap in District 8-3A basketball action.
The Longhorns (13-11, 4-6) trailed Millsap (5-21, 3-7) by a 6-4 count after one quarter, the game was tied at 13 at halftime, and Early carried a 32-19 advantage into the final period.
Kamden Gamblin finished with seven points for Early followed by Dalton Adams and Alex Perez with six apiece, Weston Barton and Andrew Caten with five each, Rohyn Price with four and Andrew Reedy with two points.

Zephyr Lady Bulldogs 45, Gustine 9
ZEPHYR – The Zephyr Lady Bulldogs continued to dominate District 18-A competition with a 45-9 home victory over Gustine Tuesday night.
The Lady Bulldogs (22-3, 11-0) led 11-5 after one quarter, 19-5 at halftime, and 29-5 going into the fourth period.
Scoring for Zephyr were Avery Dozier and Haley Eason with 10 points apiece, Aliyah Harlan with seven, Cali McRee with six, Avery Williams with five, Nae’J Payne with four, Bethany Blair with two, and Ronni McClain with one point.

Zephyr Bulldogs 66, Gustine 14
ZEPHYR – The Zephyr Bulldogs throttled District 18-A rival Gustine by a 66-14 count Tuesday to remain atop the league standings.
Zephyr (22-6, 9-0) was in front 23-2 after one frame, 47-3 at intermission, and 56-7 heading to the final stanza.
Scoring for the Bulldogs were Wyatt Stevens with 19 points, Ethan Byers with 10, Karsen Floyd with eight, Hunter Davidson with seven, Cooper Walls, Rhett Williams and CJ Byers with six apiece, and Reese Hamm with four points.

May Lady Tigers 61, Moran 10
MAY – The May Lady Tigers are now 22-7 on the season and 7-1 against District 13-A foes following Tuesday night’s 61-10 home win over Moran.
May led 15-2 after one quarter, 40-3 at halftime, and 49-5 heading to the fourth period.
The Lady Tigers received 19 points from Chloe Lord, 10 from Mia Musick, eight from McKenna Landes, seven from Kenlyn King, five from Kenleigh Williford, four each from Holli Brown and Libby Jones, and two points apiece from Estrella Bustamante and Rebekah Roberts.

MAY – The May Tigers pummeled Moran by a 64-27 count Tuesday night to move to 18-7 for the year and 5-1 against District 13-A opponents.
The Tigers were up 25-6 after one quarter, 34-15 at halftime, and 51-23 through three periods of action.
Generating points for May were Ben Harrell and Mikey Scheriger with 15 each, Zack Martin with 12,, Brody Stice with nine, Jackson Lusk with six, Wyatt Hardy with four and Kaden Watkins with three points.

Millsap 45, Early Lady Horns 33
MILLSAP – The Early Lady Horns slipped to 12-18 overall and 4-8 against District 8-3A competition with a 45-33 road loss to Millsap Tuesday.
The Lady Horns trailed 20-6 after one quarter, 22-10 at halftime, and 33-24 through three periods.
Early received 15 points from Jamie Vasser, nine from Dakota Barksdale, four from Jenna Hataway, three from Gabby Benson, and two points from Cali Vargas.
