EARLY – The Early Lady Horns tallied a 34-18 home victory over District 8-3A rival Peaster Friday night to improve to 4-7 in league play and 12-17 for the season.
Early led 15-5 after one quarter, 18-8 at halftime, and 24-13 through three periods.
Jamie Vasser poured in 16 points for Early followed by nine from Jenna Hataway, seven from Dakota Barksdale, and two points from Cali Vargas.
The Lady Horns visit Millsap at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Zephyr Lady Bulldogs 55, Evant 30
EVANT – The Zephyr Lady Bulldogs improved to 21-3 on the season and 10-0 in District 18-A action with a 55-30 road victory over Evant.
Zephyr grabbed a 17-4 lead after one period which stood at 25-13 at halftime, and 40-19 after three quarters.
Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs were Haley Eason with 14 points, Aliyah Harlan with 13, Cali McRee with 10, Avery Williams and Avery Dozier with eight apiece, and Nae’J Payne with two points.

Zephyr Bulldogs 70, Evant 17
EVANT – The Zephyr Bulldogs climbed to 21-6 for the season and 8-0 against District 18-A foes with a 70-17 road triumph over Evant Friday night.
The Bulldogs led 24-0 after one quarter, 41 -2 at halftime, and 56-10 heading to the final period.
Putting points on the board for the Bulldogs were Reese Hamm and Hunter Davidson with 10 each, Wyatt Stevens with nine, Karsen Floyd and Rhett Williams with eight apiece, Chayden Woodcock and Ethan Byers with seven each, and CJ Byers and Cooper Walls with six apiece.
Zephyr hosts Gustine on Tuesday.

May Lady Tigers 58, Baird 10
BAIRD – The May Lady Tigers improved to 21-7 overall and 6-1 in District 13-A action with a 58-10 victory over Baird Friday night.
May led 9-6 after one quarter, 18-8 at halftime, and 40-10 through three periods.
Mia Musick finished with a team-high 18 points for the Lady Tigers trailed by Jordyn Gerhardt with 17, Chloe Lord and Kenlyn King with eight apiece, Kenleigh Williford with five, and Estrella Bustamante with two points.

May Tigers 49, Baird 28
BAIRD – The May Tigers moved to 17-7 on the season and 4-1 against District 13-A competition with a 49-28 road triumph over Baird.
The Tigers were in front 13-4 after one period, 22-12 at intermission, and 25-21 heading into the final quarter.
Zack Martin scored a team-high 20 points for the Tigers followed by 11 from Brody Stice, six from JD White, four each from Ben Harrell and Jackson Lusk, and two points apiece from Ryland Billadeau and Mikey Scheriger.
May hosts Moran Tuesday.

Peaster 52, Early Longhorns 27
EARLY – The Early Longhorns tumbled to 3-6 against District 8-3A competition and 12-11 for the season with a 52-27 home loss to Peaster Friday night.
The Longhorns were down 16-2 after one frame, 21-7 at intermission, and 38-17 through three quarters.
Early received 15 points from Kamden Gamblin, six from Jacob McDaniel, five from Andrew Reedy, two from Rohyn Price and one point from Andrew Caten.
The Longhorns head to Millsap at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.
