The Lake Brownwood water level is almost 15 percent lower than this time six months ago, according to information posted on the Water Data for Texas website.
Lake Brownwood as of Wednesday morning was 59.8 percent full at 1,415.94 feet, up slightly from 59.4 percent and 1,415.83 prior to Tuesday’s rain.
On July 3, 2023, however, Lake Brownwood was 74.5 percent with a level of 1,419.56 feet – almost three feet higher than the current level.
Rain chances of 70 percent of more exist for Thursday, Sunday and Monday in the more recent seven-day forecast.
