The City of Bangs issued the following press release Wednesday morning

Stephanie Jester recently joined the City of Bangs team as the new City Administrator/EDC Director effective November 27, 2023.

Stephanie is a 2nd generation Bangs, TX local and a graduate of the class of 1986. She is the granddaughter of Lonnie and Lucille Wickson, and the daughter of Larry and Mary Wickson. Stephanie is married to Doug Jester, a Bangs graduate as well, class of 1981, and they have two grown children. Stephanie holds a BAS in Human Professional Administration with a certificate in Mediation, and an MA in Human Professional Administration and OHRD with a certificate of graduate study in Conflict Resolution both conferred from Abilene Christian University. She also holds an MBA with an emphasis in Accounting from Excelsior University. Stephanie also became a member of Sigma Beta Delta, International Honor Society in Business Management and Administration in 2021.

Stephanie is excited to come home and serve the community that helped raise her. We are equally excited to welcome her to this leadership position and look forward to serving with her.
