Mamie Holland “Holly” Stovall, age 44, of Coleman, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023.

Mamie was born September 22, 1979, in San Angelo, Texas to Marc Stovall and Brenda Rees Stovall. She graduated from Coleman High School in 1998. Mamie enjoyed playing dominoes, cards, and board games. She fiercely loved her daughter Kady Marie and her granddaughter, Charlotte Ann. Any opportunity she would get to spend time with family, she would be there. She enjoyed her job as a merchandizer at Tractor Supply and recently won merchandizer of the year. Mamie was a member of Fathers’ House Congregation in San Saba. She never met a stranger and was scheduled to graduate with her baccalaureate degree this next fall. Mamie will be missed.

Mamie is also survived by her parents, Marc and Brenda Stovall of Coleman; her sister, Dr. Mady Culverhouse and her husband, Dr. Zenon Culverhouse of San Antonio; her niece and nephew, Zora and Zenon Culverhouse; her cousins, Jennifer Rees Sherrill of Lamesa, Amanda Rees Hester of New Braunfels, Mills Stovall of Hawaii, and Blake Stovall of Dallas; and countless friends whom she loved dearly.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service celebrating her life at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2023, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Seth Moore, pastor at Hords Creek Cowboy Church, officiating. A private family interment will be at a later date where she will be laid to rest with her beloved grandmother. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

The family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made in memory of Mamie to Hords Creek Cowboy Church, 3900 State Highway 153, Coleman, Texas 76834 or to Fathers House Congregation, 704 E. Commerce Street, San Saba, Texas 76877.

We invite you to share fond memories and words of comfort and condolence with the Stovall family by signing the guestbook on Mamie’s tribute page at www.stevensfuneralhome.com. Stevens Funeral Home is honored to serve the Stovall family.
