On Monday, Dec. 11 Sarah Ann Reeves, a 20-year-old female from Brownwood, was arrested on Grand Jury Indictments for charges of Criminal Negligent Homicide, and Manslaughter. The charges come from a car crash that occurred on April 2nd, 2023 in the 400 block of Early Blvd. The crash resulted in the death of 65-year-old Micheal Bannister and 89-year-old Arthur Eugene Bannister. The Bannisters were traveling east on Early Blvd in the inside lane while Reeves was traveling west on Early Blvd in the inside lane. Reeves veered across the turn lane and struck the Bannister vehicle head-on causing the immediate death of Micheal Bannister. Arthur Eugene Bannister died on May 16th of injuries from the crash. The case was presented to the Brown County Grand Jury on November 30th. An indictment was issued for the changes of Criminal Negligent Homicide and Manslaughter. Reeves was released on a $50,000 bond.
