LOMETA – The Zephyr Lady Bulldogs won the Lometa basketball tournament over the weekend while the Zephyr Bulldogs placed third.

The Lady Bulldogs defeated Cherokee, 70-41; Santa Anna, 55-26; and Priddy, 42-33, in the championship game.

The Bulldogs opened with a 44-42 victory over Cherokee, dropped a 47-46 decision to San Saba, and defeated Rising Star, 56-32, in the third-place game

Zephyr visits Lometa in a 6 p.m. doubleheader Tuesday.
