Micheal Glynn Fulton passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023. He was born in Brownwood, Texas on September 5, 1975 to Mona Pierce Ramsey. Micheal, also called Mike, proudly grew up as a Brownwood Lion. As a young boy, he loved taking things apart to see if he could put them back together. This continued as he grew and developed his passion of mechanics and tinkering. There were few things he couldn’t fix or enjoy trying to! Micheal enjoyed being a craftsman and working with his hands. He could do it all and many called on him for help with their projects.
Micheal took great pleasure in telling stories, making jokes, and pranking his family. His laugh was contagious and his sense of humor was unmatched. But nobody laughed at his jokes like he did. He also loved to barbeque and cook for his family. Fishing and spending time at the lake brought him peace and joy. Some of his best conversations with Jesus happened on a river bank or riding his Harley on a winding country road.
He was six years old when he picked the red team in the NFC championship and began his lifelong love affair with the San Francisco 49ers. He loved his team and loved to brag that he had bled for them when he got his tattoo. He enjoyed talking smack to all his favorite Cowboys fans and anyone who would trash talk back! Micheal was truly a fan of the game. He spent his last day alive having an amazing day with his sons watching the Texans and Cardinals in Houston. It was one of the best days they have ever had!
Micheal met the love of his life, Dawna, at Brownwood High School and eventually they married in 2001. They have shared a lifetime of love, growth, overcoming, and being blessed by watching their four amazing children flourish. His legacy of love, laughter, and creativity continues on in his kids. They are the best of him and there was nothing he was more proud of.
He is survived by his wife Dawna, his daughter – Ilena, and his sons – Aaron, Chevy, and Brody, his granddaughter Amaris, his mother – Mona Pierce Ramsey, his brother, Jon White, his mother-in-law – Susie Cardenas, his brother in love and wife, Zac and Brandee Roark, niece – Angel Grace, and other adopted family – The Bennie Family, Cry and Stephen Sharp, Bob Nance and wife Irene, John Nesmith, Tim and Sabrina Davis, TK, Jackie Carmack, Martha and Jason, Jerry Crouch, and Danny and Michelle Sears, Mike Smith and family; extended family Glenna, Jarin and Jeremy Brown, and Donna Schenk; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his dad – Jimmy Ramsey and his grandparents Viola and Odie Curry, and grandfather Rufus Pierce, father-in-law – Tommy Snipes and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, November 24, 2023 from 6-8 at Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Tx. A celebration of life will be Saturday, November 25 at 2 pm at Heartland Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank all of their friends and the community for the outpouring of love they have received.
