The 7th annual Democrat Community Center Chili Cook Off and Supper will be held on Saturday November 18th. Free to enter, must make approx. 5 lbs. of anything goes chili, this will be served for supper beginning at 6:30pm. Set up begins at 8am, cooks meeting at 10am, sausage wraps at noon, corn hole tournament and live music throughout the afternoon. Democrat Community Center is located 8 miles East of Zephyr on FM 218 in the community of Democrat, Texas a once thriving community over 100 years ago.
