- On Friday, Nov. 3, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to Bally Shannon Dr., Brownwood TX, 76801, in regard to a dog being shot after attacking someone on a bicycle. Information was gathered and a report was made.
- On Friday, Nov. 3, Deputy Michel Wilson took a report about a lost wallet found on Oak Ridge Trail. The wallet contained an identification card. Contact was attempted with the owner of the wallet but was unsuccessful. Information was collected and a report has been made.
- On Saturday, Nov. 4 at 10:39 a.m., Deputy Michel Wilson received a call from dispatch regarding a Violation of Protective Order. A male had made contact with a female from the jail phone system, violating the Emergency Protective Order issued by the judge. Information was obtained and a report taken.
- On Saturday, Nov. 4, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to Healer Lane Brownwood TX, 76801 in regard to an animal bite. Deputy Geis spoke to a complainanant who said that his neighbor’s dog bit his arm. Information was gathered and a Dangerous Dog form was issued, and a report was made.
- On Saturday, Nov. 4, Sgt. Andre Smoot with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to Los Trace event center located at 3901 US Hwy 183 S for a disorderly conduct where an individual was on scene attempting to fight the staff and customers. After deputies arrived on scene, they learned that the individual attempted to bring beer onto the property after being denied service and threw money into the face of the owner while trying to purchase alcohol. The individual speech was slow, sluggish and his balance was unsteady. The individual was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication and Criminally Trespassed from the business.
- On Saturday, Nov. 4 at approximately 11:33 p.m., Deputy Thomas Beloat with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to U.S. 377 East, regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon further investigation there was not any physical altercation, only a possible threat. Pertinent information was gathered, and a report was completed.
- On Sunday, Nov. 5, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to Blanket TX, 76432, in regard to a deceased individual. Information was gathered and a report was made.
- On Sunday Nov. 5, at 7:39 p.m., Deputy Ricky Herring was dispatched to the Brown County Jail located at W. Commerce in reference to an assault involving two male inmates. Upon arrival, information was gathered, and an assault Class A Misdemeanor report was made.
- On Monday, Nov. 6 at 2:52 p.m. Sgt Jayson Bastardo was dispatched to FM 2525 regarding trespassing. Upon arrival contact was made with the complainant who stated her neighbors have been trespassing on her property at FM 2525. The complainant requested a Criminal Trespass Warning be issued to both individuals. Information was gathered and a report was made.
- On Monday, Nov. 6, Deputy Chris Williamson was dispatched to a criminal mischief call located at the intersection of FM 585 and County Road 139 North. Two mailboxes were struck by a yellow vehicle sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and 11:45 p.m. on Monday. Information was collected and a report was made.
- On Monday, Nov. 6 at about 2:30 p.m., Deputy Chris Williamson was dispatched to a criminal mischief call located at Oak Point phase 2, Brownwood TX. Deputy Williamson made contact with the complainants who attempted to break into their RV on Oct. 26. Information was collected and a report was made.
- On Monday, Nov. 6, Sgt. Angel was dispatched to West U.S. Highway 67, in reference to an assault. On this date, a male slapped a female in the face with an open hand causing pain The male left the residence prior to Sgt. Angel’s arrival. The female would like to pursue charges on the male for the assault. A report was taken for Assault Family Violence and an investigation is underway.
- On Tuesday, Nov. 7 at approximately 10:39 a.m., Deputy Ira Smith was dispatched to of S. Oak Point Drive for an attempted burglary. Deputy Smith spoke with the property owner who advised that someone attempted to enter her trailer at approximately 6 a.m. Sunday morning.
