The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Thursday regarding felony cases recently heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.

• Bryan Dee Penn aka Bryan Dee Penn II pled guilty to the felony offense of Vehicle Involved in Accident – Failure to Stop and Render Aid and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
• Gary Michael Bell pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 11 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
