10u Blue Bombers won the championship in a one day tourney in Breckenridge on October 15th. They scored 51 runs and only allowed 1 run to be scored on them.
Reese Robinson was MVP. She pitched 6 innings and had 16 strikeouts. She also hit .600 on the weekend. Brayzie Slayton was offensive MVP. She hit .667 on the weekend and found ways to make things happen. Harper White was defensive MVP. She caught 10 innings and was solid behind the plate.
Everyone contributed to the team’s success, so many girls produced at the plate. Taylor Dunn also connected for a blast to the outfield. Scout Sheffield pitched 2 innings and had 4 strikeouts and pitched a no hitter. Gentry McMillian pitched 4 innings and had 9 strikeouts.

Bombers Sheffield 10u won for the 2nd consecutive weekend, taking 1st place out of 8 teams last weekend. They played 5 games and 3 were back to back.
Gentry McMillian was on fire at the plate. She hit .900 on the weekend! Kallie Atkinson was consistent hitting .500 on the weekend. Kaylee Cheek and Harper White also hit .429 on the weekend and came up big! Reese Robinson hit .384 and Fynlee Brown worked the lead off spot with a .364 average. Audrey Stewart hit .333 on the weekend as well.
Reese Robinson led the way in the circle. She pitched 9 innings on Sunday and had 25 strikeouts. Kaylee Cheek pitched 2.2 innings and had 8 strikeouts as well. Scout Sheffield pitched 2 innings and had 3 strikeouts and Gentry McMillian pitched 1 inning and had 3 strikeouts. Every pitcher who took the mound pitched with confidence and consistency!
