- On Friday, September 22 at approximately 8:28 a.m., Deputy Ira Smith was dispatched to 1800 block of Brady Ave., for a missing person report. Deputy Smith arrived and was informed the person has not been seen or had contact with his family after September 16, 2023. Deputy Smith was informed that the person was in the McCulloch County Jail and released on September 20, 2023 and was entered as a missing person.
- On Friday, September 22 at 9:43 a.m., Deputy Ricky Herring was dispatched to FM 2632, Hideout Golf Course, in reference to a theft that occurred two days ago. Upon arrival, information was gathered, and a Theft Class “A” report was taken.
- On Friday, September 22, Deputy Toby Mathis spoke with a victim regarding theft of a package. Information was gathered and a report was made, and the incident is under investigation.
- On Saturday, September 23 at approximately 1:07 a.m., Deputy Thomas Beloat with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, was dispatched to a call at County Road 406, in May, Texas, in reference to a domestic disturbance. Information was gathered, an arrest was made, and a report was completed.
- On Sunday, September 23 at approximately 6:49 p.m., Deputy Thomas Beloat with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, was dispatched to a Criminal Trespass call at New Castle Dr., in Brownwood. Information was gathered, three Criminal Trespass warnings were issued, and a report was completed.
- On Sunday, September 24 at around 12:30 a.m., Deputy Toby Mathis, met with an individual at the Brown County Law Enforcement Center, regarding a domestic Assault. Information was gathered, and a report was made for further investigation.
- On Sunday, September 24, Deputy Toby Mathis responded to Hwy 183 S, for a report of a domestic disturbance. Dispatch advised the caller was being followed by her boyfriend, who was following her after refusing to allow her to leave the residence. Information was gathered, and a report was made for further investigation.
- On Monday, September 25, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to Spruce St., Brownwood TX, 76801, regarding a Violation of a Protective Order. Geis spoke to a complainant who claimed that her ex-husband was driving by her house trying to spy on her. Geis went to Elm St., Bangs TX, 76823, and spoke to he ex-husband who said he has not left his house since a softball tournament, which was around 2 p.m. Information was gathered and a report was made.
- On Monday, September 25, 2023, at approximately 1:01 p.m.,Deputy Francisco Valencia was dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center to speak with a walk-in, regarding theft. The complainant stated a small utility trailer was stolen from her property. Information was gathered and a report was made.
