According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, during the August 2023 session of the Brown County Grand Jury, 33 true bills were returned against 31 persons.
Those indicted were:

- Manuel DeJesus Basio: Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger
- Clifford Darel Denison III: Evading Arrest – Repeat Offender
- Jonathan Price Larsen: Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone – Repeat Offender
- Shadie Hernandez: Assault Against a Public Servant
- Jessica Marie Gomez aka Jessica Marie Martinez: Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger
- Gary Middlebrooks: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
- Zachary Lane Clark: Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Jessica Lee Haley aka Jessica Lee Waldon: Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Richard Russell Roberts: Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Gary Michael Bell: Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Lynn Scott: Theft of Property
- Wesley Arrington: Theft-Metals
- William Long: Failure to Register as a Sex Offender

The District Attorney’s Office does not release names on new indictments until after the Grand Jury proceedings have been processed through the District Clerk and a file marked copy of the Grand Jury Report has been returned.
The District Attorney’s Office does not release names of Defendants who have been indicted by a Grand Jury but not yet arrested because of an indictment being sealed until the time of arrest. In addition, names of individuals who have had no formal charges filed against them and who are no-billed by a Grand Jury will not be released by the District Attorney’s Office at this time.
