We’ve got the high school season kicked off. Now we’ve got the college season. I like Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and Texas. Next year, the field is expanded, so we will see. I think the next level this year behind the aforementioned is Michigan, USC, Clemson and Oregon.
So, now let’s go to the NFL. The NFC North has the Bears, the Lions, the Packers, and the Vikings. I don’t know on this. Detroit’s got a whole lot better. The Packers may not be as good. I’m going to pull a shocker here and pick Detroit to win the NFC North. In the East, you have the Giants, Eagles, Redskins and the Cowboys. I will take the Cowboys by a thread over the Eagles. NFC South, the Panthers, Buccaneers, Saints and Falcons. I’m not sure any of them are good enough to win the division, but someone will. The NFC West, Cardinals, Seahawks, 49ers and Rams. It’s going to be between the 49ers and the Rams and I’ll take the 49ers.
In the AFC North, you have the Ravens, Bengals, Browns and Steelers. This, in my opinion, will be the best division in pro football. I could see any of the four winning it, but I think – I think – it’s going to be Pittsburg. AFC East, Bills, Patriots, Jets, (with you know who) and the Dolphins. This is another loaded division. I’ve got to pick the Bills. In the South of the AFC you’ve got the Texans, Jaguars, Titans, and the Colts. The Texans are going to be a lot better but they need to be even better than that. I think Tennessee wins it. In the AFC West, the Broncos, Chiefs, Chargers and Raiders. I think the Broncos will give them a run but the Chiefs will win it.
Now, I should get into the playoffs but who knows, by the time we get to the playoffs, what teams are even going to be standing. I will say this, I think the AFC is a lot tougher than the NFC. Having said that though, sometimes when you get real good teams all in the same division, they beat each other up and that may take place this year.
I think it’s going to be between Dallas and Philadelphia as far as the NFC race is concerned. In the AFC, I believe it will come down to Buffalo and Pittsburgh….or Kansas City.
The Super Bowl, I’ve already told you, it’s going to come out of the AFC so that means it will be what, Pittsburgh or Buffalo or Kansas City.? You know what…it just may be the Pittsburgh Steelers, but don’t hold me to that one or any others!
Until next time, so long everybody.
