Louise Montgomery, a beloved wife, mother, and homemaker, peacefully passed away on August 31, 2023. She was born on December 29, 1939, in Burkett, Texas, and was the loving wife of John Montgomery. Together, they resided in Coleman, Texas, where they created a loving home filled with warmth and compassion.
Louise dedicated her life to her family and embraced her role as a homemaker with grace and love. Her nurturing spirit created a haven for her husband and son, John Montgomery Jr. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing moments spent laughing, cooking, and creating memories with her loved ones.
Born in the small Texas town of Burkett, Louise pursued her education and earned her High School Diploma. While her career may not have been within an industry, her homemaker duties allowed her to bring comfort and happiness to those around her. She always had a welcoming smile, a listening ear, and kind words to share.
In her free time, Louise and John enjoyed traveling the Unites States in their R.V. Her gentle nature and compassion were evident in her interactions with others, as she always offered a helping hand to those in need.
Louise is joined in heaven by her parents, L.S. and Edna Woodard Anderson; one sister, Lorene Rutherford; and one brother, Weldon “Shorty” Anderson.
Louise’s departure has left a void in the lives of all who knew her. Her presence will be dearly missed at family gatherings, where her laughter and warm embrace filled the room with love. She will forever remain in the hearts of her husband, John Montgomery, and her devoted son, John Montgomery Jr. Louise is also loved by her three sisters, Sharon Wells, LaNelle Morgan, and Donna Johnson and husband Larry. A brother-in-law, R.B Rutherford as well as many nieces and nephews will miss her.
As we bid farewell to Louise, let us remember her as a beacon of love, kindness, and devotion. Her legacy will continue to inspire and guide those she touched, reminding us of the importance of family, compassion, and cherishing the moments we share with loved ones.
The family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in memory of Louise be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
