Rick Morris, age 71, of Brownwood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Cremation is under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early and the family will hold a private service at a later date.

Rick was born to Stanley and Betty Morris on December 27, 1951 in Ranger. He graduated from Stamford High School in 1969. He then married Becca Keath on January 8, 1972 in Sonora. Rick worked in utility service for over 44 years. He was the Operations Manager at Lonestar Pipeline and then the President of Quanta Utility Services. He was also a member of the Catholic Church. Rick enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Rick is survived by his wife, Becca Morris; son Keath Morris; and 3 grandchildren, Cutter Morris, Ashton Morris, and Cass Draper.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ross Morris; and daughter, Shala Draper.
