EARLY – The Early Lady Horns chalked up their first victory on their home court Tuesday evening, knocking off Ballinger in four sets, 25-7, 27-25, 22-25, 25-22.
On the offensive, Matty Boswell paced Early with 11 kills followed by Hadalee Saunders with 10, Dakota Barksdale and Jensyn Rasor with five each, Karley Smith with four, Grey Pruett with three and Gabby Benson with one.
Pruett distributed 32 assists and served the lone ace, while Jenna Hataway was credited with two assists.
Defensively, Boswell logged 12 digs trailed by Hataway with 11, Benson with five, Saunders with three, and Barksdale, Piper Pedersen and Brooklyn McCullough with one each.
At the net, Rasor collected two blocks and Saunders and Barksdale each added one.
The Lady Horns (3-3) will be back in action Friday at the Bronte tournament.
